CM/360 Calculator

Convert sensitivity into physical 360-degree mouse distance, or turn a target cm/360 back into an in-game sensitivity using loaded hip-fire profiles.Methodology

Calculate Your Mouse Distance

Calculate your 360° turn distance from DPI and sensitivity, or reverse it from a target distance.

Calculation mode

Hip-fire mouse records only. 52 non-linear approximations are excluded from this calculator.

Use the active DPI profile from your mouse software.

Enter the value shown by the game, not eDPI or a converted sensitivity.

Example sensitivity presets

Comparison uses the same target distance and DPI and is available only between compatible linear hip-fire profiles.

Enter a sensitivity or target distance to calculate.

How the cm/360 calculator works

This cm/360 converter uses the loaded game record, your mouse DPI and the in-game sensitivity value you enter. For a supported linear hip-fire profile, the calculation is:

cm/360 = 914.4 / (DPI x sensitivity x yaw)

Here, yaw is the angular rotation in degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1. The constant 914.4 is 360 degrees multiplied by exactly 2.54 centimeters per inch. The result is shown in both centimeters and inches, while the full-precision value stays available for copying and reverse calculations.

Worked example with an illustrative linear profile: DPI 800, sensitivity 1 and yaw 0.022 gives 914.4 / (800 x 1 x 0.022) = 51.954545... cm/360, or20.454545... inches/360. This is an arithmetic example, not evidence for any particular game's actual yaw.

Target cm/360 to sensitivity

Target-distance mode reverses the relationship. For the same linear profiles:

sensitivity = 914.4 / (DPI x yaw x cm/360)

Enter a distance in centimeters or inches and the calculator converts it with exactly 2.54 before calculating the sensitivity. If the exact result falls outside the loaded record's sensitivity range, the result is labeled and is not clamped into a value the game cannot set.

cm/360, eDPI and sensitivity

If you already know eDPI, cm/360 can be estimated only when the game’s yaw value is known. For a supported linear hip-fire profile:

cm/360 = 914.4 / (eDPI x yaw)

eDPI alone is not enough, and the result is specific to that game profile. Use the eDPI calculator for same-game comparisons, and read what eDPI means for the distinction. This cm/360 calculator is the physical-distance side of the same relationship.

cm/360 vs inches/360

cm/360 measures the physical distance in centimeters. inches/360 measures the same physical distance in inches. Because one inch is exactly 2.54 centimeters:

inches/360 = cm/360 / 2.54
cm/360 = inches/360 x 2.54

The two values describe the same rotation. They are not different sensitivity measurements, and converting between them does not change the underlying result.

Supported profiles and limits

  • 416 linear hip-fire profiles use the documented yaw formula and are eligible for linear comparison.
  • 8 custom-curve profiles use their existing stored curve models in both directions. They are labeled Custom-Curve Model and are excluded from the linear comparison.
  • 52 source-flagged non-linear records are unavailable in this calculator. They remain available in the existing converter and game pages, but this page does not apply the linear formula to them.
  • ADS, scope, per-optic, FOV-scaled, controller and acceleration profiles are not modeled. All calculation profiles here are hip-fire mouse records.

The game records are loaded from public and competitor sources and are treated as estimates. Read the conversion methodology and game data standard before treating a result as a physical measurement of your setup. You can verify your DPI with the DPI analyzer.

Some custom curves only produce a valid sensitivity for a limited distance range. If a requested direction or value is unsupported, the calculator shows an explanation instead of a result. Rounding is applied only to the displayed value.

FAQ

What does cm/360 mean?

cm/360 is the physical distance your mouse travels on the pad for a full 360-degree horizontal turn in a game. A lower value means a faster turn; a higher value means a slower, more deliberate turn.

How is cm/360 calculated?

For a supported linear hip-fire profile, cm/360 = 914.4 / (DPI x sensitivity x yaw). The 914.4 constant is 360 degrees multiplied by 2.54 centimeters per inch. Custom-curve profiles use their existing stored curve instead of that linear formula.

How do I convert a target cm/360 to sensitivity?

For a supported linear hip-fire profile, sensitivity = 914.4 / (DPI x yaw x cm/360). Select the game, enter DPI and the target distance, and the calculator shows the exact sensitivity before display rounding. Use the calculator above

Why is inches/360 exactly 2.54 times smaller than cm/360?

One inch is defined as exactly 2.54 centimeters. The calculator divides cm/360 by 2.54 to get inches/360 and multiplies inches/360 by 2.54 to get cm/360.

Why can I not compare every profile?

Comparison assumes two compatible linear hip-fire profiles share the same physical distance. Custom-curve profiles use different response models, and source-flagged non-linear approximations are excluded from this calculator, so mixing them in a linear comparison would be misleading.

What is not modeled?

FOV scaling, ADS, scopes, per-optic sensitivity, mouse acceleration, smoothing and other camera behavior are not modeled. A matched cm/360 is a physical estimate, not a guarantee that two setups will feel identical.
